I've been lucky and blessed to have not had serious medical issues recently. Now my luck has changed and I need Dr Gruhlkey as I did a couple of years ago. I was told I had been fired as a patient because I don't go enough. The Dr/patient relationship is personal and I take it as such.

I got an appointment quickly for a high blood pressure follow-up after being admitted to the hospital. The doctor was knowledgeable, engaged, and had gone out of his way to look up the hospital notes that the hospital had not forwarded to him yet and prescribed medication along with follow-up tests.
